Mokuhanzuri Sarasa (Woodblock and Stencil dyeing)
"Mokuhanzuri Sarasa" is a dyeing technique that uses woodblocks and stencils.
This technique is based on Nabeshima chintz, which was produced from the Muromachi period through to the Taisho period, and going back even further, to chintz that originated in India.
